CALE

Event Producer
UX Designer
Dramatic Hiker

As a founder of the brand, experiential, and publishing agency BYT Media, Inc. and a senior event producer at the startup Advoc8, I have planned, organized, and led creative direction on hundreds of events and programs since 2006, attracting over 112,000 attendees. I designed and managed brightestyoungthigns.com, the popular web magazine and events calendar which attracted over 150,000 monthly readers. Managing a small team working on programs for large partners and clients such as National Geographic, Google, The Smithsonian, TOMS Shoes, Capital Pride, EventsDC, Library of Congress, CitiOpen, and REI, as well as managing in-house projects such as The Bentzen Ball Comedy Festival and FotoWeek Festival, I have extensive experience in project management, client services, customer support, and building relationships.

During COVID I am currently doing freelance UX work for the creative agency Oxcart Assembly. I am currently seeking to apply my diverse and unique skillset to new challenges, opportunities, and causes.
